It has been an amazing weekend as we have welcomed another blessing into our lives here at Racing Creek Farms! Fly gave birth to a beautiful colt who has stolen the hearts and eyes of everyone who has seen him! Fly was able to successfully foal this young heartbreaker on March 9th at 10:45pm. We came out to find them both happy and healthy together around 11:15pm due to the support from Julie (LMC's owner, FLY's Stud) and her YI Home Camera system. Kelly woke to see on her phone that we had a NEW BABY! We all jumped from bed like it was Christmas morning! We all threw on clothes and boots and hit the barn to see the two most beautiful things we've ever seen. He is the most flashy, stunning, and talented colt we have ever seen and can't wait to see what life has in store for him. After studying all of his features and characteristics, we couldn't stop talking about how much we were in love with him. And then it happened. We saw a HEART shape on the left side of his neck and then it rolled off Kelly's tongue how "Little Romeo" had stolen her heart. Now we are all chasing him to see what new things he is learning. We know his journey will be super special as Fly continues to lead him to his future story as a leader in the pasture.
To add to the farm, Cole's Rabbits, Forrest and Jenny, have also given birth to their first litter yielding 6 young pups of different colors (grey and white, light brown and white). They are adorable, sweet and full of energy! We are very proud of Jenny and her ability to care and raise her young brood.
Kleos has found her Mate! We have completed a contract, signed and delivered to Castleton Lyons so that we can have Kleos connected with Justin Phillip. This pair shows great potential with several pedigree nicking systems that are out there. We have also looked at the high potential of the blending of confirmation, personality, and abilities. Her distance ability and physical size along with his speed and class should produce a really special cross of gifts and abilities.
