A big week approaching . . .

This spring season brings a lot of firsts to the 'Farm.  There are so many things to do and prepare for.  We certainly have been working hard in fall and winter to get ready to start up some of our dreams.

First and most importantly, Fly (11yo AQHA Mare) will be having a hot date with her new man, Little Man Campbell.  LMC is a registered APHA and AQHA Stud across town from us.  We are excited to see what these two will produce together.  The color combo could literally be anything.  2018 will definitely be a special and exciting time if everything goes as planned.

Also, the start of Cole's rabbit farm is pretty cool too.  He just received his first bunny (Tennessee, 12 weeks) and is excited to build his progeny by adding recognized breeds from this fall's Kentucky State Fair Animal expo.  Way to go Cole!

Our new "Diva", Riva has also been a big addition to the farm, literally speaking.  This chocolate harlequin Great Dane is Cameron's new puppy.  He continues to love and care for Riva everyday giving her all she needs.  She is wearing him out!!  She is currently 14 weeks old and 30lbs!  She is becoming quite the spoiled girl with all the attention she is getting.  Keep up the hard work Cam!

The physical space of the farm has improved with the additions of the "Railroad Ties" flower bed along the side of the barn.  Plans for a new 16x16' shed are laid out and ready to be completed this summer.  This will support the growth of the barn giving it the extra space it needs to work the horses with grooming and small space breaking. Also, the shed will side off to our new chicken coop and pen.  We look forward to adding the gifted Chicks from our friends at Huggett Farms in Shepherdsville, KY.
